      Riverdale Avenue runs for about a kilometre in its namesake neighbourhood in Toronto’s east end. Despite its short length, the street has a curious, layered history, one with lost and gained extensions, buried waterways, and disappearing transit lines. This talk will address the physical evolution of the street and explain how its modern form came to exist.

She will speak on how these ‘lockstitch’ devices have changed over almost a century and the community of people she has met since starting her collection.
