Discovering the Changing Sounds of Riverdale by Ron Fletcher

 

History is our collective past, and we research, write, read, revise and think about it.  But this year the city-wide Festival, "Doors Open" is listening to the Sounds of Our City, and the Riverdale Historical Society's ears are aflap!  

Please join our past president, Ron Fletcher, in discovering the changing Sounds of Riverdale through the ages.  From the indigenous "Shotgun Treaty" to the chugging railway engines to the clang of streetcars, Riverdale's history has many different sounds.  

Riverdalians, come, lend us your ears!
